Dr. Tripp completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Texas A&M University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with Honors. She received her Masters Degree and Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of North Texas. She completed her internship training and fellowship training years at Baylor College of Medicine, Division of Psychology Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences. And before opening her own practice, Dr. Tripp was on faculty at Baylor College of Medicine offering treatment services for patients with medical and/or behavioral disorders at Texas Children’s Hospital. In 2005, Dr. Tripp made the decision to leave Baylor/Texas Children's Hospital to start her own practice and focus exclusively on patient care. She maintains a voluntary affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine to provide supervision and specialty training to psychology interns as needed.

Dr. Tripp knew that she wanted to be a psychologist from an early age. She believes strongly in the process of change and feels that most of today’s challenges can be managed by self awareness and preparation. Compared to 30 years ago, so much more is now known about managing difficulties, such as anxiety and depression, and there is no longer any reason for individuals to suffer or be held back by these obstacles. Dr. Tripp is passionate about helping children and adults change their thinking and their circumstances to promote day to day satisfaction, growth, and well-being.
