Dr. Pfeiffer is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Clinical Psychologist. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, and a Master's Degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the nationally accredited Clinical Psychology program at The University of Memphis. Her residency training was completed at the Houston VA Medical Center, and her post-doctoral training was completed at Texas Children's Hospital. Her training and experience has afforded her nearly 20 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy as well as providing supervision and training of Master's level students in psychology, doctoral level students in clinical and counseling psychology, and post-doctoral level trainees in clinical and counseling psychology. She presents often on topics such as Helping Explosive Children, ADHD, Childhood and Adult Anxiety, Parenting, and Child/Adolescent/Parent Stress Management.
She is actively involved in the local community having served in the past on local PTA boards and Community Based Leadership Teams. Currently, she is Past Chair and member of the Board of Directors of the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, Past President and Executive Committee member for Fort Bend Psychological Association, Membership Committee member for Texas Psychological Association, graduate of the Leadership Forum for Non-Profits through the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, and a long time volunteer and supporter of Girl Scouts of America.

Oppositional Behavior/Behavior Management
Dr. Pfeiffer believes in tailoring treatment to meet the needs of the individual, couple or family. While much of her training has been in empirically supported cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, she is also experienced in providing therapy in an eclectic format that draws from Family Systems Theory, Meditation/Mindfulness, and Insight Oriented Therapy. Many clients seek short term goal oriented therapy to address specific issues; however, Dr. Pfeiffer also provides longer term therapy that addresses more engrained, long standing personal or family issues.
