Dr. Pfeiffer is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Clinical Psychologist. She has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas A&M University, and a Master's Degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the nationally accredited Clinical Psychology program at The University of Memphis. Her residency training was completed at the Houston VA Medical Center, and her post-doctoral training was completed at Texas Children's Hospital. This varied background has helped her become uniquely trained in working with both children and adults with a wide array of difficulties.
Her training and experience has afforded her over 15 years of experience providing individual, family, and group therapy as well as providing supervision and training of Master's level students in psychology, doctoral level students in clinical and counseling psychology, and post-doctoral level trainees in clinical and counseling psychology. She presents often on topics such as Helping Explosive Children, ADHD, Childhood and Adult Anxiety, Parenting, and Child/Adolescent/Parent Stress Management.
She is actively involved in the local community having served in the past on local PTA boards and Community Based Leadership Teams. Currently, she is the Secretary and member of the Board of Directors of the Literacy Council of Fort Bend County, Treasurer and Information & Records Technology Executive Committee member for Fort Bend Psychological Association, Membership Committee member for Texas Psychological Association, and a long term troop leader for Girl Scouts of America.
